e-NEWS SHEET APRIL 2020

e-NEWS SHEET
01 April 2020

Dear Members

We hope you are all well and managing to stay safe and connected. COVID-19 has significantly disrupted our lives and every day we need to adapt. The Centre will not resume operations until we are advised by Government authorities that it is safe to do so. We deeply regret this situation.

Our plans and ideas for 2020 have been put to one side. Our areas of focus are on developing new and current initiatives to support our Centre during this time with a new business plan currently being developed. Yes, during these difficult times our Centre will be financially affected and we very much appreciate your support and if you have some input for our future, please get back to us.

We will send e-newsletters on a regular basis which will inform our Members of some things that can be done to stay connected with us during the time ahead.

Stay well and stay positive.
Best wishes from Committee Members

Grant update: we are working hard to find new grants to keep our centre thriving.
At the moment we have applied for 2 more grants and awaiting decisions to complete the refurbishment of the Centre and to purchase new equipment.

Keeping busy in isolation computer course:  during this self-isolating period, we would like to offer this wonderful online course (from “beginners” to “almost there”) to help you keep your minds active and maybe learn some essential new skills to help in these trying times. To enrol please email woolgoolgasc@gmail.com
